Skeeter Boats/Yamaha
My initial reaction to the FX Skeeter with SHO Yamaha was the same as when I went from a gas 1500 truck to a Diesel 2500HD.  I have never been happier with any boat.  I tell my fishing friends this boat handles better, carries a full tournament load better, and has the acceleration and torque of a modern day diesel truck engine.  Just amazing.

The balance of the FX is just perfect.  It pops on plane really fast, turns sharp without blowing out, and most importantly fishes perfectly.  It sits in the water, a little lower than the I-class, and more level due to reduced weight of the engine and bigger sponsons.  You notice a smoother ride as well with sharper hull angles, and you will have better control in big water with all the torque of the SHO.

All of this and it looks really cool.  The new console has beautiful etched lines  to match the lines of the SHO.  Every little detail was thought of right down to the new passenger glove box that allows for more rods to stack on top.  Go to bed at night with just a quick code that locks all your compartments and sets and alarm at once.

Team Daiwa Rods / Reels
Team Daiwa rods and reels
are crucial to my success and confidence on the water.  Which each passing year they just get better and more reliable.  Daiwa clearly leads the industry in innovation and top notch quality gear.  Any new introduction by Daiwa is quickly copied by other companies who try to make it their own.

Daiwa’s new Zillion and Steez equipment is well worth the money and will boost your fishing success.  The lightness of Steez and the dependability of Zilllion is a tough combo to beat.  I can fish for weeks on end with Steez equipment in hand without muscle fatigue that can dampen success.  My Zillion reels, that are a few years old, cast and perform just like new. I have been fishing Daiwa equipment since I was a young kid simply because it is the best.

Culprit Fishing
I’ve been endorsing Culprit since 2000.  Through the years I’ve caught many key fish on Culprit plastics during competition.  The action and colors of the original Culprit worms are second to none.  Many tournament anglers have forgotten the effectiveness of the Texas rig worm giving me a decisive advantage.

Culprit has many great new products including two new ones coming this summer..

The Fat Max is a fat 7’’ worm made for flipping –don’t tell anybody about this one it is an awesome back up for jigs and beavers.
